Excuse me, professor!

The professor should have said:

“Sit down, and don’t speak out of turn in my class!

Now, if there is a god (the key word being “if”), and he has the powers that we suppose, he could have chosen to make the world any way that he pleased. Either he is incompetent, in which case he is not worth worshiping; malevolent, in which case he is the source of evil; or he is entirely non-existent.

Any more interjections, young man?”

You’ll notice that the ad takes an interesting turn at the end and shows the audience that the child in question is actually Einstein. Let’s think for two full seconds please before we let celebrity take precedence over logic. Einstein was a child in this video and, being as smart as he was, came to the conclusion that god probably did not exist later in life. Now, not all kids are brilliant like Einstein, so not all kids will come to this conclusion on their own. So in the end this ad actually works against itself in this way, showing that if religion were taught in schools that even more minds would not escape.

Fail. Next!

McYouTube?

October 10, 2009

YouTube and McDonald’s aren’t are starting to look more and more similar each and every day. How ironic that the excessive use of either, and indeed the combination of the two, will result in obesity.

So, I was checking the weekly statistics on my YouTube channel today and happened to notice that it has become a total sausagefest as of late! What’s the deal?!

Ed Stelmach, The Freedom to be a Yokel, the spirit to sound like one.

April 26, 2009

In a video describing the $25 million re-branding of our province, which the government hopes will attract global interest (and investment $$$) to our province, Ed Stelmach proves yet again that he is clearly a redneck, with no understanding of how to run a province with two increasingly global cities of more than a million people.

Epic Fail, Eddie and friends. Might as well have spent the $25 million dollars on sausages, pancake mix and “orange juice” for a province-wide Stampede breakfast.

Radiohead with a drumline?!

February 9, 2009

I have had the opportunity to play snare drum for Keith Urban and Shania Twain, but I would have killed to be involved with tonight’s Grammy Awards performance, where a drumline accompanied Radiohead (live on internationally broadcast television, to boot!) Those lucky bastards…
